We prefer high school student volunteers who have good communication, teamwork, and technical skills in writing and/or marketing. We also favorably view applicants with an interest in astronomy and astrophysics. However, anyone is free to apply for a position at EHC! Applications are relatively non-competitive. Good luck!
Commitment level is relatively low, but every position has required assignments.

Research engaging topics in astronomy and/or astrophysics.

Present and explain the topics concisely and accurately.

Communicate effectively with other members or leaders.

Absolutely NO use of AI to write anything will be tolerated.

Fact-check the information in magazine drafts.

Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and phrasing mistakes.

Report writers to the co-founders if any use of AI is suspected or detected.

Check if the sources used are credible.

Ask co-founders permission to proceed with collaborations with other organizations

Manages EHC’s Gmail inbox and responds to emails

Increases EHC’s media attention to interest more volunteers
